Grant Gutierrez, Chief Financial Officer

Grant Gutierrez serves as Chief Financial Officer for Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative. He is responsible for leading Bluebonnet's financial strategy as well as the day-to-day operations of the cooperative's accounting, finance, billing and information technology departments. In addition, Grant provides leadership to the cooperative's corporate communications team. Grant is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from Texas A&M University. Before joining Bluebonnet in 2005, he worked for Ernst & Young, a global accounting and professional services firm. Grant is a native of Bastrop County and graduated from Bastrop High School. He and his wife, Krystel, live in Smithville with their three daughters. Grant has served on the board of trustees for Smithville Independent School District since 2014, having served as both Secretary and President. He also serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the LCRA Rate & Resources Council. Grant is an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Smithville and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
